Castlebrae offers a wide range of adult classes. Staff are committed to offering a supportive and positive learning experience whilst providing adult education classes that offer learning opportunities in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We run a varied programme for adults and our current classes include; Spanish, Art, Cookery, Woodwork, Instrument Making, and ESOL
This term our classes start week commencing Tuesday 18th April with the exception of Come Dine with us which starts the following week (Wednesday 26th April). Days and times of classes are subject to change and classes may be cancelled if attendance is low.

Enrolments take place at the School Community Office before the start of the class each term or can be made online at www.joininedinburgh.org/castlebrae with the exception of the ESOL class please see below for details.
ESOL (English as a Second or Other Language)
This is a mixed level class and can provide an opportunity to gain British Citizenship. Students interested in this class should contact Edinburgh College for further details, enrolment and fees on 0131 535 4630
Come Dine with Us
Step by step instructions to create a variety of dishes.
Interested in learning or improving your Spanish then this course is for you.
Students can develop their painting and drawing skills using various materials.
This course will provide an introduction to the basic techniques of woodwork.
An advanced woodwork class where students can make a working musical instrument.
A beginner’s course covering basic principles of woodwork.
Introduction to Hairdressing
Day and time to be confirmed.Learn how to shampoo, blow dry, colour hair and reception skills. Please contact the School Community Office if your are interested in joining this class.
For daytime use, a timetable is available from the School Community Office.
Before using the fitness suite, you must attend an induction complete a health registration form and sign the conditions of use form. Phone the School Community office on 0131 661 4049 to arrange an induction.
Some classes may have an additional weekly cost towards ingredients or materials used for further details contact the School Community Office.
Proof of concessions must be shown at the start of each term even if booked online.
