Digital Media Computing

Digital Media Computing is a fairly new course available in S3, S4 and S5/6. Pupils have the opportunity to cover a set of 12 units throughout the year that will give them a National Certificate in Digital Media Computing at Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2 or Higher. Sets of three units combine to let pupils qualify for National Progress Awards.

Pupils create and use multimedia, video, still images, sound clips, web pages, computer games, blogs and animations. They also learn the theory about the topics we chose, such as how to get the best image quality in graphics or about copyright laws that protect the videos and games you make.
